At the heart of Stella James is the creative voice and founder, Melanie Bronfman. She lends her vision and business savvy to Stella James, as well as the names of her beloved children Stella (age 5) and James (age 7).
The brand was born of a desire to keep a symbol of her cherished children with her at all times in a way that felt both authentic and meaningful. She envisioned letter-shaped diamonds that could be worn as staple jewelry but was suprised to find no existing options that satisfied her desire for both premium design and heirloom quality.
She set out to create a collection of precisely cut, tasteful diamond letters at an attainable price point and the shining result of her journey is Stella James.
We use lab-grown diamonds because we believe beauty should never come at the expense of ethics or the environment.
